  District W1 Retiree Club, IAMAW,

seeking new officers and members.

Please contact District Lodge W1

if you are interested in participating in

the Retiree Club.

The District W1 Retiree Club was formed in 2001, at which time Bylaws were adopted and the first appointed officers were Bill Hubbell, President; Chuck Hathcoat, Vice President; and Jerry Lantto, Secretary/Treasurer.

The purpose of the Retiree Club is to promote involvement of all retired members of  International Woodworkers of America and International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers in their communities by fostering ties with them into their retirement years, and

1.  Informing retirees of IAM programs, policies and objectives.
      2.  Keeping the IAM informed of special concerns of its retired members.
      3.  Enlisting support from retirees for IAM objectives.
      4.  Providing IAM Retirees with social and recreational facilities.
      5.  Helping retirees secure adequate housing medical care and prescription benefits
           and other consumer services.

We are a growing force in politics and must make our voices heard, especially on issues such as health care.

In achieving these objectives, and with the help of Woodworkers District Lodge W1, we have been establishing Local Lodge Retiree Clubs in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.  The Retiree Clubs are listed below with the present officers and their addresses for you to contact for more information, or if you are interested in becoming a member.
